At the Cod’s Scallops we serve the freshest seafood in town to eat in or takeaway. The restaurant is relaxed and the service is informal, this is the place to sit and enjoy the freshest of seafood prepared and cooked to your liking. A fine selection of beers & wines are available to complement your food.
Our fish is delivered daily and where possible sustainable. We buy direct from Brixham on the Devon coast, Cromer on the East, Filey on the North East coast and Fraserborough, Scotland where some of the best fish in the world is landed. Alongside classic fish and chips cooked in real beef dripping, the menu includes the freshest fish deep fried in our own secret recipe batter or oven baked with garlic, lemon & herbs. Home-made pies and award-winning sausages will also be available. Seasonal specials include braised lamb shanks, faggots and onion gravy and “posh fish pie”. Summer berry Sundaes, cakes and home-made ice creams will round off your fish supper experience.
Our fishmongers is open daily selling a wide selection of wet fish & seafood. We can prepare any fish just how you want it and our Chef will advise you on the best way to cook it at home.
